Every summer, Vision Academy runs Oxbridge and STEM summer camps in top international schools across China. These camps are a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for your subject, gain international teaching experience and work with enthusiastic students looking to study abroad in the future.
Our Oxbridge camps focus on preparing students to apply to the UK’s top universities. Teachers will be involved in assisting students preparing for written tests, guiding them producing a suitable personal statement and conducting mock interviews. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to assist outstanding Chinese students striving to achieve their dreams of studying abroad.
Our STEM camps are aimed at GCSE and AS level students, offering them the opportunity to learn higher level content as well as complete a short independent project. Teachers will be responsible for developing and guiding students carrying out their own independent research projects, teaching them how to write academic reports and conduct a literature review and helping them prepare final presentations. These camps are fun and engaging for both students and teachers, enabling you to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders while improving your teaching skills.
Our STEM camps focus on project-based learning, enabling students to develop their scientific skills through hands-on science projects and research. As a teacher, this provides you with a unique opportunity to develop their scientific enquiry skills while inspiring them to consider careers in experimental research.
Vision Academy operates a competitive selection process, selecting the most enthusiastic and academically gifted students. The majority of students participate in the camp as part of their preparations to study abroad in the future. They are a delight to teach and genuinely passionate about their chosen subject area.
Teaching at Vision Academy’s summer camps is more than just a summer job – you will also have opportunities to experience the local culture through camp activities and enjoy trips to local tourist sights. During their time off, many teachers enjoy traveling to other cities on China’s rapid high speed rail network.
In summer 2020, Vision Academy will be running camps in four exciting locations across China – Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an and Suzhou. Camps will last two weeks, provisionally starting on the 12th July and 27th July 2020.
